Under the FDCPA, it is illegal for debt collectors to:
If a debt collector violates the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act the law entitles you to $1,000 and the collector must pay your attorney fees and reimburse any costs of bringing a lawsuit.
Contact me if you believe a debt collector has violated the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act and I will negotiate compensation for you or sue the debt collector and represent you in court, if necessary. I will take your case on a contingent fee basis, which means you owe me nothing unless I am able to recover money for you.
